eIsBATES PLEADNOT GUILTYWll L CONTRIBUTE TO THE SUPPORT OF HIS CHILDREN.William E. Bates was arraigned iti common pleas court today and asked 10 plead to two charges of nonsupport. He was indicted for neglecting his four children, all beingunder the age of 16. He has separated from his wife. He plead not guilty and his case was continued until the next term. In the meantime he is held under bond of $500 on each count and will pay $3 a week for the support of his offsprings. 5 Bates formerly lived in North Defiance, but is now a resident of Troy, Ohio.
