This entitles the above named partyto a membership in the First Degree in which he has taken in the presence of Henry Luce, who is a member in the Fifth Degree. The above named party is 35 years of age; color of hair, black;color of eyes, blue; occupation at this time, farmer.(Signed] Otto Doaiims.The accused men are each aboutthirty years of age and each haye a family residing at Oeci).Inquiry made among the people of that piace disclose the fact that the reputation of the two men at home is none of the best.A German named Wachter, a farmer,who resides up in Paulding county, was seen in company with Luce andThompson when they were in town lastweek, and suspicion was aroused thatlie w as being solicited to join their clan. On Thompson’s person was found one of the oaths with Wachter’s name attached. The latter wae in town Monday and the otlicers gave him a close examination, with the result that he informed them he had been forced to%t\emen.
