This entitles the above named party to a ^ membership in the first degree in which heha j taken in the presence of...........wiio is a member of the 5tb degree.The above named party is years ofage; color of........; color of.........;occupation at this time................Signed.........................One of these oaths properly filled out was found on Luce, one of the men nowunder arrest, and was made out in thename of, Otto Doner, a farmer supposedto live near this city.Marshal Shannon is of the opinionthat this counterfeit money is made inthe east and is shipped west, as theabove oath is that of the “Green goodsmen” and has never been figured out bythe government secret service men.Mr. Shannon thinks this section ispretty well flooded with this counterfeit.John Webb, of Toledo, a government secret service man was in the city Monday and met both of the prisoners. The men will be taken to Toledo today.
