OWNER SHOTBY HUNTEROROERS MAN FROM HIS PLACE ANO LATTER DRAWS GUN AND FIRES.PARKERSBURG. Jan. 5.— James Klrdendall. of Burn Ins Springs, was brought to this city yeaterday morning and taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital where an operation was performed on him yesterday afternoon by Physicians H. B. Stout, Rolla Camden and O J. Casio, of Elisabeth, to remove a bullet which has been In his body since Wednesday afternoon. The operation was not successful, as the chrr-* physicians, though they traced the leaden missile from the small of his back where It entered. to the fleshy part of his hip. failed to remove It.According to Klnh-ndall jf story on Wednesday afternoon he ordered William I .oc lt;1 so me ofT his place and for bode him bunting there In the fut'jre. I.cedsome became* enraged and the two men engaged In a light. Leeds* ome finally pulled a gun and shot Klrdendall. The wound while not necessarily fatal, Is considered a serious one. The victim Is very weak, but It Is believed that he will be able to stand another attempt by the physicians to locate the bullet this morning.Loedsome was nr rested Into Wednesday evening at Burning Springs by the sherJIT of Wlrf county, and Is now In the Wlrl county jail. Both men nre well known.
