No Verdict Reached In Gl's CaseA Marin Superior Court Jury has failed to decide whether a 19-year-old soldier is guilty ofattempted rape, kidnap and sexual perversion.Judge Henry J. Broderick dismissed the jury in the case of SP 4 James Allan Mueller after it had tried for almost 11 hours to reach a unanimousdecision Fridav and Tuesday.* *Mueller was arrested Oct. 8 after a 21-year-old San Francisco woman told police she rolled out of Mueller's car and held him at bay with a broken glassbottle until two vouths on mo-*torbikes rescued her on a dirt road near the Sausalito rock quarry.He subsequently was charged with forcing a different girl to 1 copulate orally with him at the ' same site Sept. 8.Kach of the women testified Mueller gave them rides while they were hitchhiking.The judge continued the case ito Mondav to set a new trial• .date.
