He seemed to be much excited ao.l told the negroes at the cabin that it was he who had murdered Miss Anna Lloyd In Cincinnati.He exhibited a knife with which he said he had committed the deed.A Bhort time after the negro left the matter was reported and details telephoned to Winchester.The police were also informed that the man was on his way to Winchester and that a watch had been detailed to follow him.No description of the negro or his nameTcouid be obtained.Deputy Sheriff Acts.Dr. Williams of Ford said to The Commercial Tribune correspondent that Deputy Sheriff Reed of that vicinity was 1 trying to race down the negro in that neighborhood.According to Reed’s story, the negro was badly frightened or seemed so and said the was going to visit a relative near ' Red House, about four miles from Ford, j and that the name of that relative is Dave Taliaferro.
