COUKXEBFSmNQ AS A POLITICAL MaoHUTS.— A gentleman named Houston King, an ex-rebel co2onel* who, it seems, has been trying for the last six months to obtain the ear of the government, fouod his chance yesterday and made affidavit before Commissioner Shields of the following apparently Munch an senish facts:— There has long been a huge conspiracy on hand to bring’ the country, to repudiation and Insolvency by flooding it with counterfeit money, and the principal leaders of the con-spiracyare Prank Blair, Governor Hoffman, ax-Govemor Morgan and ex-President John-aon. The principal meeting of the conspirators was held in the Tammany wigwam.
