Mr. Moeller had recently suffered an attack of the- flu and this coupled with'being a victim of high blood pressure is thought to he the cause of his fuvduen demise.Henry C. Moeller was born in Ben* 1on county, Iowa. April 12, 18711 and ■passed away on Sunday, Dee. 110, 1928, Me came witu his family to Ciay county, in 1899, locating on a farm, one rnile north and one and one-lialf mile 'west of Everly. Here lie resided until 1900, when he entered the farm implement business at E verYy in partnership •with his cousin, II. 11. Moeller. Mr. Moeller moved to Milford in 1909, when he purchased the hardware and implement business of S. O. Rillslmry, and which he conducted up until the time of Ills death.Mr. Moeller was united in the holy ■ixmds of matrimony with Miss Anna Kettelson, at Everly, May 21, 1904, and to this union two children were born; Inez now Mrs. A. J. O’Dell, of Iowa City, and Myron M., at home. He is survived by his widow, two children, i three brothers, B. B. Moeller and Ru-• f •dolph Moeller, of -TSverly, Iowa, and Ernest Moeller, of Long Beach, Calif., and one sister, Sophia Jeldon, of Long Beach, his mother, Mrs. Katherine Moeller of Everly, and a host of friends in northwest Iowa, where he was well known. His ifather passed away at his home in Everly, in 1913, and an older brother died when twelve years old.Since coming to Milford he has had an active part in all public affairs. He served on the city council for many years during the time of the town’s greatest improvements. He always stood for the better things of the community and gave of his time and money to further all good interests. 1-Ie •was always a loving husband, a kind and indulgent father, and- a loyal and helpful friend.He was a member of the First Congregational church, of Milford.C. Kessey Christian Kessey was born in Christiana, Norway, April 3, 1S4G and died at his home in Milford on Jan. 1, 1929, death resulting from old age.He was educated in the schools of his mative-.city, but the lure of the western - world brought, him ‘ to America in !in ;sailing; -vessfL Janding ' at: QUdbecr'Can^nP'r'dmthere he went to Chicago and later to La Crosse, Wis., and -to Lansing, Iowa, where he took up the work of a blacksmith and wood worker. Later he lived :at Decorah, Iowa, but came to Dickinson county in 1S71, and located at what is now the Old Town of Milford.
