Moeller(Special to Reporter from MilfordMail)The people of Milford were shocked and grieved beyond the power of words to express, Inst Sunday afternoon when word was passed around erf the sudden death or Mr. H. C. Moeller, hardware and implement dealer, who for nineteen years had been prominent In the business circles of the town and In goud citizenship.Sunday afternoon Mr. Moeller drove out to his half-Hcctioii farm near Superior. arriving about 11 o'clock. He was talking with his tenant, Mr. Kosik, on matters re-ffanlin^ the farm, when he suddenly threw up his arms and fell forward to the ground, death having occur-ed instantly. Mr. Rosik telephoned immediately for Dr. Q. c. Fuller, who hurriedly drove nut to the farm hut found Mr. Moeller was beyond medical aid. TIis death occurred from heart trouble with which he had for some time been afflicted, but not so as to prevent him from attending to bust ness in which he had been very successful, having operated several farms in addition to his store* business.The high regard in which the deceased was held and the sympathy felt for the bereaved family was sliown by the large attendance at the funeral service, held -at in o'clock Tuesday morning at the home. He lived there until the spring of 1B9U when he moved with his family to a farm one mile north and one-mite west of Everly. Mr. Moeller entered into business with his cousins. H. H. Moeller in 1900, In the implement trade in Everly. He was united in holy matrimony to Anna Ketelsen of EverJy on June 3, 1903, and to this union one daughter was horn at Everly on May 21. 1904. The family moved to Milford in 1909 and there a son wan born the same year. Mr. Moeller was engaged there in the hardware and implement business, buying out the S. O. Rlllsbury stock, which business be continued until his death. Mrs. Katharine Moeller, mother of the deceased, who lives nt Everly could not be present at his funeral services in Milford on account of ill health. His father passed away in Everly in 1913. Three brothers and one sister survive him. They are:B. B. Moeller and Rudolph Moeller of Everly. Ernest Moeller and Mrs. Sophie .1 olden of Dong Bench. California. An older brother passed awny twelve ytvirs ago.Since Mr. Moeller made his residence in Milford, he has had the Interest of the better welfare of 1 the community at heart. He served I on the city council for a number of j years during the time of Its many j public improvements. He was a man I who has always stood for the bet-[ ter things of the community.
