Mr. Treher Greatly SurprisedJohn Treher, accompanied hy Mrs. Treher, and sons John and Tom, went to Long Beach yesterday to spend the day at the home of ids brother, George S. Treher. When lie reached the beach city and the first greetings were over, Miss Mary M. Treher, Mr. Treher’s sinter of llo-quiam, Washington, came into the room and surprised her brother. This surprise was but an introduction, fur Mrs. H. F. Shaneberger, another sister and John H. Treher of Indianapolis, Mr. Treher’s father, also welcomed Mr. Treher, and the reunionwas complete. John Treher Sr., who will soon be 85 years old. has been very ill and his relatives in Southern I Q California had not expected to see him ; again, fie and iiis daughter plan to remain in California until March.
