The abdomen became swollen and it was evident his condition was critical. Drs. Clark and Will Thomas, of Clarksburg, who were then attending him, had reached the conclusion the intestines had not been perforated, but feared .peritonitis or an infection of the wounds. Despite their efforts, his condition grew worse and Monday afternoon at 3 o’clock it was evident the end was not far distant. Beagle was conscious until fifteen minutes before his death, did not appear to suffer, and slept when the unleashed soul passed into eternity.AUTOPSY REVEALS CONDITIONS.Dr. T. B. Gullefer of this city, Dr. Clark and Dr. Thotnas held an autopsy this morning and found that death was due to gangrenous ^al poison. The intestines had not11-! been perforated but were bruised,S’ swollen and black*and mortificationm had practically eaten them up.■n The post-mortem revealed there fact the two revolver ivotmds hade- made six holes in the body.* VICTIM A KENTUCKIAN.Frank Beagle, was born in Grant ] a' county, Kentucky, 2$ years ago and came to this county when a boy of thirteen years. He had always engaged in farm work, and for the past five years, off and on, I jand the last two consecutively, had Le worked for Mr. Greer. Mr. Beagle was married over two years ago and his immediate family left are the widow and an eighteen months’ old baby boy. In addition, the \ surviving relatives are an aged mother, five brothers and one sister.
