Marshal Rigney was called to the home of C. Don Bandfield, on Wilkinson street, last night, where he found that Mr. B. had come home in an intoxicated state and was beating his wife. The officer started for the justice’s office to file a complaint but on the promise of Bandfield to conduct himself in a more becoming manner, proceedings were for the time suspended.
