Five CrashessAre ReportedOn Icy RoadsFive traffic accidents occurred in Twin Falls Friday morning as a result of slick streets. No one was injured and property damage was not extensive, police reported.Two of the accidents happened at Second avenue north and Third street. A 1941 Ford pickup truck' driven by William H. Deagle, 49, 238 Jackson street, collided with a 1949 Frazier driven by Francis A, Breeding, 70, 571 Jackson street.In the second accident, a 1955 Be Soto operated by Frederick W. Ku-cera, 370 Elm street north, collided with a 1953 Plymouth driven by Ben R. Call, 1307 Fifth avenue east.Martin D. Anderson, 24, 315 Second avenue north, told police he lost control of his 1953 Studebaker at the comer of Second avenue west and Seventh street. The car slid into a power pole. Damage to the car was set at $75.Norma Wellman, 520 Second avenue east, and Victor C. Fisher, Pocatello, were drivers of a 1948 Packard and a 1951 Dodge which collided at the intersection of Fifth street south and Main avenue. Damage to the Fisher auto was estimated at $250.A 1951 Chevrolet and a 1952 Chevrolet collided at the corner of Ash street and Ninth avenue east causing about $100 damage to both cars. Ernestine E. Hansen, 1720 Ninth avenue east was the driver of the 1952 Chevrolet while William F. Potter, 951 Elm street, drove the other car.None of the vehicles Involved in the accidents had a Traffic Safety Volunteer sticker.
