Polly Henderson swore out a warrant for the arrest of a colored man, of Mitchell, named Parrott, on a charge of committing a rape on her daughter, Minnie. The 3'oang man was arrested and his prelimin aiy examination had, yesterday, but too late for ua to know the result* The general belief, however, is that he will be held for the grand jury.
