A Bohemian Oats Trial.Fjcsdlar, O., February IS,—The second test-case against the Bohemian oats swindlers resulted yesterday in. a victory for the farmers, and the frauds who have so long infested this county and who have taken more than $100,000 from the pockets of our farmers are becoming seared. The case tried yesterday before Justice Brown was brought by Jeremiah Drake, a prominent farmer of Delaware township, against Lawrence Sader, who acted as agent of the so-called Bohemian Oats Association in the southern part of the county. The testimony showed that Drake had purchased ten bushels of the oats from Sader,.giving his note for $100 In return Sader gave a contract agreeing to take twenty bushels of the oats at $10 per bushel and charge 25 per cent for sailing. Sader agreed to dispose of the oats one month before Drake’s note became due, but he never came after it at all and was never heard from. The justice held that Drake was entitled to recover $148, allowing for the oats at their real value. The decision gives great satisfaction. Sader is a Woodcounty farmer. »-«#»—•-
