SYLACAUGA — Talladega County sheriff's deputies charged two Sylacauga men with robbery and arson Monday night. Chief Deputy Owen Harmon said this morning Truman Ogle, 21, and Ricky Patterson, 17, were charged in an incident here involving auto theft. No other details were immediately available 5 arrested in burglary of trailer Five suspects have been arrested in connection with a Wednesday house trailer burglary in Oxford, according to Calhoun County sheriff's deputies Four of the suspects have been charged with burglary, grand larceny and buying, receiving and concealing stolen property. They are Joey C. Ledbetter, Thomas W. Phair and Rodney F. Johnson, all 16 and from Weaver and Edward L. White, 23, also of Weaver. Another suspect, Johnny J. Waldrop, 17, of Anniston, has been charged with buying, receiving and concealing stolen property. All are to appear in court March 5 All are charged in connection with the Wednesday burglary of a house trailer occupied by Cynthia Dunscombe of Oxford, Rt. 6. Items taken in the burglary and later recovered by deputies include a shotgun, two speakers, two cameras, an amplifier, a tape deck and a motorcycle helmet Waldrop has been charged with buying, receiving or concealing the shotgun stolen in the burglar. All of the suspects, except Phair who has been released on bond, were in Calhoun County Jail this morning Chatchee man charged with assault A 40-year-old Ohatchee man is to appear in court March 5 on an assault with intent to ravish charge, according to county sheriff's deputies. The suspect, Wesley E. Higgins of Ohatchee, Rt. 1, is charged in a warrant with assaulting a Calhoun County housewife. He has been released on $3,000 bond
