This is a structured one-to-one activity in which a volunteer/ inmate pair, working together once a week for a year, seek out ways to maximize the olienders' chances for success in the community. Guidance is offered by a staff member who meets regularly with the volunteers.Now that the strong concerns about prison conditions have receded from the front pages, perhaps many men don’t know how to get involved.
