SENTENCEWas Passed By Court In Cases*Of Meno Brothers This Afternoon,150 DAYS EACH ON FARM; Tiioinas, John and George Motto and August Pongeo were each this after-Don sentenced to 150 days on the penal farm and to pay the fine of $400 by Judge Swails. The fines and sentences were given the men by a jury two years ago and taken to supreme court where they were sustained. The fines were the largest ever given in thisstate on a blind tiger charge.Other cases pending against the men wc\e disposed of by pleas of guilty. John and Thomas Meno were fined $f0 and costs and 150 days each on the penal farm on another charge of running a blind tiger.John and Thomas Meno were fined $10 and costs and given 30 days on the penal farm for running u gaining house.George Meno and August Pongeo were fined $5 and costs each for conducting a public nuisance.The liquor confiscated during the various raids was ordered destroyed.The several jail sentences given the same defendants will all he served at the same time. They will probably be taken to the penal farm Monday.
