Dance thought it too much, and so expressed himself. Mr. N. did not think so, and tried to argue the point with Dance, who “couldn’tsee it,” and so expressed himself. The controversy ended in Dance giving Mr. N. the lie, whereupon the latter neiied a billet of wood and commenced operations on Mr. Dance’shead, who drew a knife and stabbedNunemachcr in the forearm; the wound is painful but not serious. Dance was arrested by policeman Hager, and conveyed to jail.
