NEW PLANT BEING BUILT BY BROWNTOWN SILICA CO,Browntown, Wis., Feb. 23.—A fire-resisting concrete and steel structure is going up to replace the hulking sheet-metal mill of the Browntown Silica company’s plant, which was destroyed by fire Dec. 24.The owners, P. W. Palmer, Edger-ton, and J. E. Palmer, of Hartland, Wis., have put two' contractors to work on the job. The Palmers placed the loss of the Dec. 24 fire at $150,000.To speed the work, concrete is being poured daily, by heating all the ingredients and keeping the walls warm with' steam heat. Eight hundredyards of concrete and 80 tons of\ steel will be used. The Palmers expect to resume operations May 1.When five of an undetermined cause leveled their plant, the palmers had just completed the installation of a carrier that incre^ed the intake of rock five times, The plant had been increasing its output daily and was at work H'hours a day,
