Besides being knocked down by a person wearing metal knuckles his scalp was } cut to the bone in four places and he was otherwise maltreated. When the doctor attended him it was found necessary to shave his head in order to give the ugly wouuds attention. The assault is being investigated. 80 far no warrants have been issued but there is a possibility that charges of assault with intent to kill will be lodged against one or two persons.
