John Dorsey IIJohn Robert Dorsey II, 68, of 1029 Short Ave., died 7 a.m. 'Tuesday, Feb. 21, 1989, at his home.Born Jan. 11, 1921, in Mount Vernon, N.Y., he was the son of John J. and Anna Hay Dorsey. He jnarried Shirley Wunnenberg Dec. 18, 1976, in Oquawka, 111.He had operated a jukebox business in Mount Vernon, N.Y., was employed in management positions with Litton Industries, and owned and operated the Burlington Lounge and Pizza Parlor before retiring. He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church and the Moose Lodge.Surviving are his wife; three sons, John Dorsey III, Oakland, Galif., and Daniel Dorsey and James Dorsey, both of Mount Vernon, N.Y.; one daughter, Mrs. Patricia Nelson, Orangeburg, N.Y.; one stepson, Robert Mah-alic, Lexington, Ky.; two stepdaughters, Sharon Mahalic and Mrs. Francis Weiss, both of Burlington; one sister, Mrs. Ann Duphiney, Tarry town, N.Y.; and 11 grandchildren.Visitation will follow a Christian wake service at 7 p.m. Thursday at Prugh’s Chapel.The service for Mr. Dorsey will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. John’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Albert Hauser officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.. A memorial has been established for the Southeast Iowa Head Injury Support Group.
