wniet-s.Two Lee Negroei Arrested After Wise ShootingAppalachia, Va.—(SpU—Gar-field Conyner and R. C. Hamblin.Negroes, Pennington Gap, were released from Wise County jail Tuesday on bonds of 31,000 each, in connection, with a shooting affray at a new Negro cafe here Saturday night.Both waived hearing to the April term of Wise Circuit Court.The two were placed in the Wise County jail on charges of shooting two other Negroes in Sam McWilliams Cafe here Saturday night.Williams said he swore out a warrant against the two after a shooting affray at his place of business Saturday about 11:30 p.m.He said a knife was also involved in the fight between the two Pennington men and Sam Wolfe and Anderson Reed.Wolfe was admitted to Miners Hospital at Norton, Appalachia officers said, but Reed only received a flesh wound in the arm.
