ROBS CUPBOARD9 •%iOn pretext of renting her apartment, a man went through the home of Mrs. J. Milne of 240 Chicago avenue, Wednesday, February 20, and robbed her of a pocketbook valued at$5, and $15.50 in currency which wasin the purse. Mrs. Milne discovered the robbery a short time after the man left when she went to take her purseout of the cupboard and discovered it missing.The man is described as being around twenty-seven or twenty-eight years old, five feet seven inches tall and weighing about 175 pounds. He wore a gray cap and overcoat, and had a decided Swedish accent.
