Court House, Friday, Feb. 21.—(Before Mr.¥. Billam, Mr. T. Horsfall. an.l Mr. C. H. Dawson —James Crab-tree, of Guiseley, carter, was charged by Superintendent Smith, of Otley, with leaving a large stone, with which he had been blocking his cart, on the turnpike road, atEsholt, on the 23rd of January, and was lined Is., and costs 10s.—Mr. John Dawson, of Rawden, brewer, was charged by Mr. Smith with riding on the footpath, at Hawksworth, on the 13th inst., and w as fined 10s., and costs 15s.— Levi Crabtree, of Eccleshill, and Thomas Holdsworth, of Under-clilf, waggoners, wrere charged by Sergeant Inman, of Menston, with riding on their wood waggons, on the turnpike road, at Menston, on the 13th inst. Fined each 2s. 6d. and 13s. Gd. costs. Police-constable Oddy, of Baildon, charged William Davy, jun., weaver, and Edwd. Davy, delver, both of Baildon, with being drunk and riotous at that place, on the Oth inst. Fined 5s. and 8s. 3d. costs each. Police-constable Mellor, of Guiseley, charged John Ciapham, of Guiseley, weaver, with a similar offence at Guiseley, on the 2nd inst. Defendant pleaded guilty, and was fined 10s., and costs 10s.—A license to sell gunpowder and fireworks was granted to Mr. John Brown, of Guiseley, grocer.
