illegal Beer Brings Fines To Eight MenFort Madison police, acting on a tip, obtained a search warrant and raided a shed to the rear of 3412 Avenue Q SundayOfficers arrested eight men on beer law violations.Police entered the shed at about 4:16 p. m. Sunday.Charged with illegally selling beer on Sunday and fined $15 and costs in police court todaywas Alfredo Lozano, 58, 3101Avenue O-The seven others were all charged with buying beer from a bootlegger and were fined $10 and costs in police court today.They are Robert Ruis, 35. 3438 Avenue Q; Frank Davila, 43, Kansas City, Mo.; Walter Maciel, 38, Gaiesburg, 111. *Sacramento Frasco, 46, 3408Avenue Q; Ansel Goosey, 56, 3441 Avenue Q; Lelo Prado, 42, 3415 Avenue Q; and Salvador Nunez, 45, 3426 Avenue Q.Nunez was also charged with resisting arrest and was fined an additional $5 and costs.
