'Many people do not know that the entire cornice work on the residence is of ‘iron. The quality of workmanship on the interior of the. house is still in evidence, although the ex tori or of the building has been sadly neglected during the past few years.The home was, at the time of 1U construction, the most luxurious frame dwelling in the city. Por many years it was noted as a social center for the young people of the city, who were always welcomed by the Tate family. Many people In the city will recall happyevenings spent as guests in the home.Blight years ago the building passed into the possession of the Citizens National bank, The structure was sold, about a week ago, to Guy B.
