LOCAL/STATEPennsylvania State Police secure the area shortly after a shooting in West Pittsburg just before 2 p.m. yesterday. Police said Robert E. Berendt, 23, of 11 th Street accidentally shot himself and was found in his car, which was parked in front of his residence. Berendt was listed in critical condition last night at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.West Pittsburg shooting
