Federal Gram tibJurors ReportList of 83 Indictments ReturnedInclude Charge AgainstFormer BankCashierIndianapolis, Feb. 20—(/P)a a -The federal grand jury adjourned late yesterday after re-urning 83 indictments involvingmore than 100 persons, mostly onliquor charges.Approximately half or thosenamed in the bills were residents of Terre Haute with a fewscattered counties in the southern part of the state.Lloyd Nelson, former cashierof the First National Bank ofMilroy, was charged with embezzlement in one of the indict-ment.s He is alleged to havemanipulated the books of thebank to the extent of $25,000. Healso was indicted by the RusnCounty grand jury.The jurors wrere in session sev-A a %en days and returned a total of4143 indictments naming approximately two hundred persons. Among those named in liquor ctments were Ernest Platt,Richmond, Ernest Kohl, Fayettecounty; Ivan Hill, Knox county;Tony Strathman, Orange county Lawrence Johnson and Robert Renn, Clarksville; John andMargaret Oberting, Lawrence -burg; Jacob Keibler, New Albany; Jacob Dick, Dubois county; and Sylvester Vander-schmidt, Vanderburgh County.
