Payne. 59. of Route 3, Biufod. ms injured M 6:99 p.m. Saturday when a car he vu driving hit the state route 15 bridge over the Illinois Central Railroad, north of Bluford.Mr. Payne, who suffered head and back injuries, remained as a patient this morning at Good Samaritan Hoapttal.He told county officers that he had to swerve to his car lo avoid collision with an approaching car which crowded over the center line.Kit oar waa considerably damaged.
