Gets Prison TermFor Cattle TheftiTribune ~~ Ferdie Kerns, 26. j |Scott City was sentenced to not lt;more than seven years in the state penitentiary by Judge Ray H. Cali-han of the district court here on a cattle theft charge.Kerns pleaded guilty to theft of a calf belonging to C. F. Dean. The animal was taken last Aug.5 from the Jimmie Weaver pasture in the northeast part of the county. The Scott City man was the second sentenced in the case. George Wolfe was sentenced to a similar term last month.
