A WAYWARD GIRL.Mrs. Scantz the Daughter of Well Known Alliance People..In an account of the shooting of | Homer Stantz by bis wife, at Los An-'geies, Cal., the Alliance Review says: The woman referred to above is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs J. J. Robert * son, of Mt. Union, and was formerly j ^ well known here. Her name was Liz-: ' zie, and for a number of years before her marriage gave her parents consid-I erable trouble from her wayward acts.| Later she settled down and married 5 Mr. Stantz and went to Canton, and 3ater to Pomona with him. They ! seemed to be as happy as two people well could be, and the news of the shooting came as a great shock to her parents. The telegram announcing the woman’s rash act was received Thursday night from an attorney, who de-! sired to have funds forwarded to defray the expense of defending her. No details were given, and Mr. Robertson wired to have a full aeeount of the tragedy forwarded to him. Mr. and Mrs. Robertson have the heartfelt sympathy of a large circle of friends in their trouble.
