JhQ Tulsa police department is to be congratulated tor their bravery in the attempted capture of this bad: man* Who was responsible for sending twelve men to surround the hodse has not been ascertained. The news accounts do not state why the same twelve men were found in front of the house when Pretty Boy and his aide escaped through the back door. I wonder what would have taken place had some of our old time peace officers like Frank Jones, Sum Baker, Joe Permenter and Doc Odam would have captufed Pretty Boy. Yet we have twelve men with machine guns, tear bombs- sawed off shot guns, and si do arms going out to capture one man and then letting him escape through the buckdoor.
