CONVICTEDOF MURDERMattie Williams of Lorain Must Goto Penitentiary for Life.Elyria, O., Feb. IS.—After three hours the Jury in the Mattie Williams murder case returned a verdict of guilty in ttie second degree. When the verdict was read the girl threw up her hands and shouted “My God. Dick,” and fell prostrate in the arms of her brother. Richard Williams. The convicted girl’s brother burst into tears and pleaded with the court to impose the penalty upon him instead of upon his sister. She stabbed Lulu \\ hite, of Cleveland, to death iu Lo rain last fall in a figLit over a colored man.
