Student Says Wallet Stolen, Threats MadeA wallet containing two credit cards, one drivers license and foreign currency was reported stolen Tuesday from a locker at Rich Central high school in Olympia Fields.A Park Forest student told police that after he discovered his billfold missing, he notified his gym instructor.The student then said he received a telephone call at home.The party telephoning said leave $20 on a garbage can at the rear of 304 Boston street in Chicago Heights, and return later to retrieve the wallet.The youth told the caller he wouldn’t meet the request because his wallet and contents were not worth the requested money. The caller told the youth “he had better not show up for school tomorrow,” police reported.
