Mail Jailed After TheftCUERO, Feb. 16 {^-August Styra. 37. charged with murdering an elderly brother and sister, was taken today to the county jail at Karnes City where he is charged with theft of over $50.A grand jury at Cuero recommended yesterday that the murder charges be maintained until a full investigation of the case is completed.Styra Is charged with the deaths of Erwin and Emma Richter of near Garefield, Tex. Their bodies were found in their burned farm home.Styra first confessed and then denied slaying the couple. A lie detecter test at Austin and a truth serum test at Beaumont failed to connect Styra with the deaths.Sheriff Ray Markowsky said he has asked that Styra be taken to a hospital.
