Man Sentenced To Five Years In Court HereThree persons appeared before Judge Kermit E. Nash In Fifth District Court proceedings in Lovington Monday with one man being sentenced to the pen-etentiary.Walter Cobb, 28, of Eunice was sentenced to one to five years in the state penetentiary after pleading guilty to larceny.A juvenile girl appeared with no action being taken. Hearing date in the case was set for March 1.George Shope, 34, of Hobbs appeared on a charge of battery. Shope was released on probation in custody of his physician.
