The crime is said to have been committed during a aaloon riot at Oory three weeks ago, in which two men were unmercifully beaten and earns near dying. The Jacobe boys are bom the West, are ex-oow boys and have the reputation of being desperate character*. The prisoners were turned over to Sheriff Bingo, of Clay county, and were taken to Brsxil on the 5 o’clock Van-dalia train.—T. H. Express, Sunday.The abore statement ia not correct in detail. Sheriff Bingo and son went down to Perry township last Friday and arrested Melvin Jacobe at his home. Saturday, deputy Alva Bingo went to Terre Baute and culled to his assistance the officers named, who accompanied him . and the arrest was made of the two brothers, Hilman and Franklin. The fourth brother, Boone Jsoobe, gavebond in the sum of $50.
