FARMINGTON (AP) - The younger brother of slain professional skier Vladimir “Spider” Sabich has to pay $1,000 after pleading guilty to possession of one to eight ounces of marijuana.Magistrate Court Judge Roy Marcum fined Stephen Sabich, 30, of Aspen, Colo., Friday on the possession charge under a plea bargain agreement approved by the state police and the attorney general’s office.Sabich and Ronald Steinman, 28, of Manchester, Wis., originally were charged with possession with intent to distribute, a felony.Sabich Steinman were arrested last November near Navajo Dam after aGame and Fish Department officer spotted the two in a car.A state police investigation uncovered about 860 pounds of marijuana in the same area, hidden in underbrush near the spot where a small airplane registered to Spider Sabich had landed.The attorney general’s office also has initiated civil proceedings in SanJuan County District Court to havethe Piper Aztec airplane forfeited to
