They evidently found the life far from satisfactory, and the eldersister, Ada, tried to commit suicide yesterday morning by takingParis green. She announced that she had taken the drug, giving as a reason that she was tired of lit and ready to die. Her friends summoned Ir. G. W. Crapo, whe administered an emeiic and she Jwas brought around 10 life again. She was ail right yesterday afternoon, and had apparently become satisfied with her career.Laura Pollock, an inmate of Sal-lie Miller’s bagnio, and known to her most intimate friends as “Silver Heel,” tried to shuffle oJi* yesterday afternoon, by taking morphine.
