Trail is postponed for man on murder chargeLITTLE ROCK (AP)-The capital murder case of A C. Reed. 30. of Little Rock, which was scheduled to be tried next Monday, was postponed Tuesday because of new evidence given to Reed's attorneys by police.A new trial date of March 26 was set. Circuit Judge Floyd J Lofton also transferred the case to Circuit Judge Lowber Hendricks Jr because Lofton's caseload would have prevented him from hearing the case until JuneReed is charged in the Feb. 12, 1974. slayings of Carmen Sue Margrave, 18, and Ernest Dene Landrum, 21, both ofPine Bluff, whose bodies were found in the trunk of an abandoned car in Reservoir Park nereReed was arrested in 1978 in California and brought to Arkansas on a first-degree murder charge He later was charged with two counts of capital murder.Deputy Prosecutor David H Williams said the evidence oreviously was withheld oecause police thought it was irrelevant to the caseJapanese suicide planes jombed the U.S aircraft earner Ticonderoga in 1945, killing 144 and wounding 193.
