Byagainst sexand child molesters is not needed so much as an improvement or change in public attitude so that present laws can be enforced, a city psychiatrist said Thursday,,Dr. Moorman Prosser, clinical professor of psychiatry at the University of Oklahoma medical school, discussed the problem Thursday morning at a legisla- i tive workshop meeting of the city P-TA council.A recommendation that Oklahoma City P-TA units combine for a citywide campaign for stricter laws against child molestation and sex crimes was introduced at the council's meeting last Friday.Prosser pointed out that al-thou|h public opinion already radically disapproves of sex criminals, the major reaction is talk and criticism and little action.Victims Fear CriticismPublic opinion must be aroused to the point that there will be sufficient public interest to see that such cases are pushed to a conclusion and victims of such offenses must be willing to testify against the offenders, Pros-ser said.
