MINER RECAPTUREDLfti*l of Throe Jail Break urs Returned Here.Carl Miner, the third man of tho trio which broke Jail here the last of January. was discovered by highway patrolmen of Missouri and Kansas at Coffeyvllle, yesterday, and Roy Hancc of Seneca, constable, and J. Ackcrson. deputy constable, brought him to Joplin,where they were met very earlythis morning by Sheriff RussellPatterson and Deputy Sheriff Ora Schweitzer, who had the pleasure of returning Miner to the Newton county jail.Officers state that Miner had very little to say. beyond the statement that ' Well, it. seems like home, to get back here, as ho was again placed in the Jail here.Miner was in Jail here, awaiting the February term or Newton county circuit court, under three charges of forgery, when he fled from here sometime during the night of January ‘.7, He. Jack Rsllnger. charged with statutory crimes, and Sam Bates, facing a vagrancy I charge, went down a rope made of I bedding and clothing, after four i bars had been sawed from a window in the Newton enmity .inil atop the courthouse here.Mslinger and Bales were returned. having been captured within a short, time after their escape, and have both been .sentenced to penitentiary terms. Miner will be brought to trial when circuit court l c-convenes here next week
