What a vile creature shemust be ! She ought to be driven out ofthe city or be compelled to abandon her nefarious business. Mrs. Volger, who owned the premises in wbith she carried on her assignation house, was compelled by S'ipeiintendent Vandever to give it up. and the same course of treatment ought to be administered in the case of the Septer woman. There is not a house of prostitution in Terre Haute in which rooms can be engaged for the purpose which Mrs. Septer puts hers to, and an assignation house should not be allowed to exist within the corporate limits.
