A daring robbeiy was coin-emitted at Asessippi sometime on Sunday niglit or early Monday morning, wlsen T. McLeunan’s ! store was broken into and thesafe cariied away, together with all the tobacco in sight, nothingelse seems to have been taken.|The safe was a large one and it must have taken at least five or | six men to lift it through the window and onto the sleigh. The heavy snow storm helped them to get away, as before the discovery- was made all tracks hadI 4*!._been covered over. ProvincialConstables Wishart, Moynes,Bell and other constables in the dis-| trict were soon on the job of try-1 ing to locate the burglars, and four suspects have been arrested, 3nd a big gang of men have been i searching the valley and bush in the Galician colonv for the safe, but so far without success. It is over two yea is now since robberies have been reported in Boulton and aroundfand hardly a settled has escaped having grain or cattle stolen, fcnd it has been and is a serious matter, and unless the guilty parties or caught and seveiely punished | there is no knowing where it will stop.
