The society was out in force in pursuit of the horse, and James Chessen claims to have found the horse, assisted by John Kucnnemann. When Jim presented the claim at the last meeting the members of the society refused to allow it on the ground that Jim did not capture the thief. Then there was a disagreement as to whether *fnick-nacks” and “sundrtes,** which were frequent items on-the expense bill of the pursuers should be allowed.The society members who had not►*partaken of the nick-nacks would not, vote to allow them and ruled tha every fellow must pay for hla own nick nacks and suodrlea out of an allowance of $2.50 a day.Friday a meeting of the amateur horse thief detectives was called for this evening and James Chessen will present to the members a letter from John Kuennemann directing the society to pay to .Tames Chessen the full amount of the reward due for the recovery of the Crews horse and etn-powing Chessen to collect it.F.Wlute Hussars “Sinking FniM.”al81$fm.VtlkCielvb811)OCBtltlatlsw8sctiClbCPutlis
