Shadle, 38, McElhat-tan, who is serving a three to eight-year prison sentence on a voluntary manslaughter conviction from Clinton County Court, has applied for lt;cr* Daroic. He was sentenced on Nov.10, 1955, for the fatal shooting of Roland Butler, 25, of Greene Township.District Attorney Robert D. O’Connor said he will file no opposition to Shadle’s parole application. Shadle was found guilty of shooting Butler after a brawl at the Evening Star Inn near Loganton on July 2, 1955. His application goes before the State Parole Board on Feb. 20.
