Greenbrier County grand jury indicts 23By Nerissa YoungREGISTER-HERALD REPORTERLE WISBURG — A White Sulphur Springs scoutmaster was one of 23 people indicted Tuesday by a Greenbrier County grandjury.Donnie O’Brien, leader of Pack 51, was indicted on charges he falsified accounts. According to the indictment, O’Brien claimed the pack spent money from popcorn sales for tents when, in fact, he pocketed it.A Ronceverte man was indicted on charges of burglary, kidnapping and battery. According to authorities, 21-year-old Robin Prescott Blake pried open the window to Lisa McAllister’s Lewisburg apartment. He then forced her into his truck and kept her there for half an hour before she convinced him to take her home.In a separate indictment, three men were charged with the malicious wounding of John Taylor. Darnell Weston Simms, 18, of Rainelle allegedly attacked Taylor with a metal pipe at his home. Simms’ co-defendants are Hassel Lee Toney, 36, and Craig W. Lampkins, 22, bothofDanese.Others indicted were: Henry I. Scott, 50, of Williamsburg on one count of first-degree sexua 1 abuse. Bobby Allen Conrad, age and address unknown, on one count each of malicious wounding and recklessdriving.• Yukon William Knight, 28, of Lewisburg on one count each of entering without breaking, malicious woundingand battery.■ Robert Powers, 26, of Hines on one count of child neglect. His wife, Stacy, 24, was also named in the indictment.• Charles David Duggan, 20, of Rupert on one count each of aggravated robbery, conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery, burglary and petit larceny. Richard W. Bennett,18. of Rainelle was named in the same indictment on the aggravated robbery charge. Bennett was named in a separate indictment and charged with aggravated robbery. Kenneth Roy Neff, age and address unknown, on 10 counts each of entering an auto without breaking and petit larceny, two counts each of destruction of property and auto tampering and one count each of grand larceny, breaking and entering an auto and conspiracy to break and enter automobiles. Also named in the indictment was Raymond Alfred Williams Jr.. 21, of Lewisburg. Michael Wayne Permelia, 22, of Caldwell on one count each of breaking and entering. petit larceny and aiding and abetting a breaking and entering. David Anthony Faber,19, of Frankford was also named in the indictment. Grant Steven Jones, age and address unknown, was named on the aiding and abet-tingcharge. Sharon Faye Steeps, 23, of Lewisburg on one count each of burglary and petit larceny.Also named in the indictment was Vanessa Lynn Reynolds, 18, of Lewisburg.► Vera Lynne Dixon, 35. of White Sulphur Springs on four counts of acquiring possession of a controlled substance by misrepresentation.► Velva Gladys Walkup, 34, of Renick on 14 counts each of forgery and uttering and one countofburglary.► Adam Lewis Reynolds, 21, of Fairlea on one count each of uttering and obtaining by false pretenses.► Lesa J. Fitzgerald, age and address unknown. on one count of obtaining by false pretenses.
