People vs. Cocco Trial ContinuesBELMONT — Four witnesses took the stand yesterday in Allegany County Court at Belmont yesterday in the trial of the’ people versus Theodore N.'Coc-cq, whose last known address was Salt Bising Road, Bolivar.Cocco had pleaded not guilty Jan. 6 to burglary third degree and grand larceny, first. He had been indicted by the Allegany County Grand Jury in Oc- ' tober.Witnesses included Robert W. Costello of WellsvUle SRS, Law- rence J. House, Norman Joyce, Leo Joyce and Frank Cahill, all of Andover, all of whom appeared for the people. District Attorney Edward F. Merg-ler of Bolivar is representing the people. Philip Engelder of Wellsville Is the attorney lor Cocco.The 35-year old defendent has been charged in the theft of scrap copper tubing, a chain saw, portable gas generator and a set of pipe wrenches allegedly taken from the Village of Andover storage building on Aug. 24.Additional witnesses will be heard today.
