Women of Community Church to Hold Annual Birthday LuncheonThe year’s seasons and cele*bralions will be represented in the table decor, when the Women's Association of Palm Springs Community Church holds its annual Birthday Luncheon in the fellowship hail on Feb 13, at 12:30 p.m.Members of the association will i sit at the tables representative of I their birth month, and the speak-ler's table, which will be decorated by the church's group headed ‘by Mrs. Myron Pearsons, v ill use ‘Missionary Vision” as its theme.“Compliments That Count' will be the topic for guest speaker Betty Pershing, who is youth directorin a Compton church, and has a rich background in Christian education. For the past four years. Miss Pershing has served on the i editorial staff at Gospel Light Publications.Mrs. Daniel L. Newton, asso ciation president, announced that chairmen for the affair arc as follows: Mrs. Paul Burkholder,food: Mrs. John Williams, tickets; and Mrs. Wilson Hall, table decor. Under the supervision of Mrs. Burkholder, casserole dishes willf be prepared by the hostesses of each of the 2fi tables, and the eo-'hostess of each table will bake a birthday cake for dessert.
